Dear Friends of Heartsong,
Over 30 years of spiritual practice has consecrated the Heartsong Shrine. Hundreds of people have danced and prayed at the Shrine as we followed our mission: “ to facilitate ones inner growth and embody the Sufi message of love, harmony and beauty”. Sufis speak of the baraka (blessing) of a place. You can feel this blessing upon entering the Shrine. Now the original shingle roof is beginning to leak and we are moving to replace it. Recent work has stabilized the foundation. Roofing and gutters are the next steps in maintaining the Shrine. We hope you can help us with this effort. . .

A non-profit spiritual retreat center based on the Sufi teachings ofHazrat Inayat Khan, Samuel Lewis, Jelaluddin Rumi , Murshida Vera Corda and various spiritual masters.
Heartsong Retreat Center is a non-profit organization which is based on the Sufi teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Murshid Samuel Lewis, Murshida Vera Corda, and one one the greatest mystics and poets the world has ever known, Jelaluddin Rumi. The spiritual retreat center was founded by Murshid Khabir Don Kitz in 1981 on land next to the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas.
Classes are held on a regular monthly schedule along with workshops, seasonal celebrations, individual and group led retreats. Heartsong has brought to the Ozarks many wonderful camps, trainings, and intensives with beloved world-renowned teachers, including: Shabda Kahn, Tasnim Hermila Fernandez, Allaudin Ottinger, Sharif Baba, and Bilal Hyde.Learn More
